SPR# JCOL6EBH45 - With this change, Domino Web Access no longer relies on $AutoEditMode item to determine if a document should be opened up with edit mode. Also, the item won't be set when saving a mail as draft.

Problem:
This issue has been reported to Lotus Quality Engineering in SPR # JCOL6EBH45
and fixed in Notes 6.5.6 and 7.0.1. Refer to the Upgrade Central site for
details on upgrading Notes/Domino.

SPR# JCOL6EBH45 - With this change, Domino Web Access no longer relies on
$AutoEditMode item to determine if a document should be opened up with edit
mode. Also, the item won't be set when saving a mail as draft.
To work around the issue in earlier releases, you can disable "Allow design
locking" for your Notes mail file. After that change, you can open these
e-mails without error. More >
